Montage of Daria's many activities and desires as she grew up. We can see her pet a horse, joining the army, handing with Pepper, dancing and using swords. Giulia stands in front of this, teary-eyed, dramatic.

Giulia: Why do you wish this suffering upon me? You wanted a brother, I gave you a brother. You wanted to be a woman, I made you a woman. You wanted dancing, sword-fighting, horse-riding and Xénon knows what else for lessons and I gave you those too. Is it too much to ask for you to return my favours? Or do you take pleasure in humiliating us in public like this?

Panel 2, 3:
Daria has no reaction. Temperature drops for her, but a concerned Pepper seems to take notice. She flees the scene and he follows her quickly.

Panel 4:
Daria's father, Danni, addresses Giulia.

Danni: That was too harsh, Giulia.
Giulia: She needs to learn to hear the truths, my dear.
