Dária raises her fist to her chest and stands to attention. She jumps away as Nikita looks to the massive door behind him again.

Panel 3,4:
Nikita, alone inside the huge Catheral. The inside is cold and dark, with some light coming in the dusty atmosphere. He is small compared to everything.

Panel 5,6:
Nikita grabs his medal and pulls it off with a strong gesture.

Nikita leans against a large collumn, desolate.

Aurik (off panel): Don't toss it. You deserved that.

Panel 3:
Nikita looks at the medal in his hand as Aurik approaches slowly.

Nikita: You deserve it far more than I do. I would have died that night if it weren't for you.

Panel 3,4:
A shot of one of the Cathedral's small windows, with the light coming in and illuminating the dust. The light makes the yellowish rocks of the Cathedral almost shiny.

Nikita: How does one go on after being so ready to die?
Aurik (off panel): Then was then. Now is now.

Panel 5,6:
Aurik makes for his pocket and pulls a cigar.

Aurik: I got you something. The Augur was giving these away outside. Figured you'd need it more than me.

Nikita: Damn... Thank you, Aurik. You always have a way of remembering me. Got any fire?
Aurik: Huh... I don't.
Nikita: Oh. That's alright.

Panel 4,5,6:
Nikita bites his cigar and covers his face with his good hand as he starts tearing up and shaking. He slides down the collumn he's leaning again until he's sitting on the floor.

Nikita (sob): Everything's alright.

Nikita is sitting on the floor, Aurik attempts to get close to him but he starts chuckling.

Panel 2:
Nikita burst out in a hysterical laughter.

Nikita: AHAHA! There will be more medals, Aurik. AHA AHA! I'll get more when I slaughter all of them!

Panel 3:
Takes half of the page. Nikita smiles, holding the medal next to his face. His ash marks are all smudged.

Nikita: I will burn that country down and I will salt the Earth so nothing ever grows there again.

Set on fire everything that burns. Recently promoted to Major.

Mikhail Kirchhoff - Dead on the outside
Bled out, alone. Goodbye.

Dária Grillo - Not so ready to clown anymore
Just found out that maybe her family doesn't really care for her wellbeing. At a loss as to where her aliances should lay.

Pfeiffer Müller - Wishes he was dancing
Dária's partner in crime. Maybe he dismisses Dária's concerns, but he cares for her feelings.

Shizuka Nakamura - Exhasperated at Computers
Maybe God told her to stay behind, maybe They meant something else. Either way, the future doesn't seem safe.

Franquelim Pastore - Augur / Needs a rest
Was told to stay away from the computer, failed. Knows a few things about trauma. Has a big hat.

Steffano Corvo - Aspiring Politician
Put his life on the line for political influence. Could be in love. Owns three crows.

Fausta Frescura - Part-time hairstylist
Getting her hopes up.Knows there's something in her head, but doesn't understand what. It's not a Piece of God, that's for sure.

Olivia Mezzaferro - Retired General
Unintentional mother figure. On Salamanca for some emotional support and to be in the loop about some recent events and strategies.

Alessandro Corvo - Senior General
Fervorous Expansionist who's ready to use any excuse to invade the neighbouring country. Probably also owns several crows.

Giulia Grillo - Head of the Grillo House
Dária's mother. Angry at not being in the know about the mission's probabilities. If anyone's going to put her daughter's life in danger it better be with her consent.

The Foreigner - Abomination
Crashlanded in Arouca after hitting a satellite. Provided no explanations on the matter and now everything's a mess.

Aurik Landi - Nikita's actual second-in-command
Recently engaged after a panicky proposal. A kind man who actually thinks of others, it seems.

Xénon - Computer / A Piece of God
Overloaded, overnervous and running a lot of diagnostics. Concerned about the apparent return of the Foreigner.
