4 Panels.
Panel 1: Eurico sits next to the hurt person, who flinches. The rain feels slightly heavier.
Eurico: Thank you so much for informing us of this tragic situation, mister Afonso Peralta.
Afonso: Please... Med- Just t-take me to a medic.
Eurico: We have two questions for you first.
Panel 2: Eurico puts a hand over Afons's shoulders, and looms close to his disfigured face.
Eurico: Why would you betray your country and give information to the enemy?
Panel 3: Close up of Afonso's face as he struggles to find an answer. He has no eyes.
Afonso: I was... I was t-t-t-t-t-tor- TORTURED.
Eurico (off panel): Come on, Afonso. WE both know that is not true.
Panel 4: Estanislau is holding a gun and a few bullets, looking away and finally joining the conversation. Behind him, Eurico is still sitting awfully close to Afonso, who cowers very small.
Estanislau: Your brothers and sisters over there died protecting this country. Are you somehow better than them? More deserving of life?

Where this is leading horrifies me as much as what Nikita has done to him (or to the woman in the previous scenes!). 😨
Somehow, Estanislau’s googly eyes continue to unnerve me more than Eurico’s goblin face.
But both masks still look less horrible than the actual people behind those masks really are!
oh this is horrid, that poor guy’s gonna get tortured again but in an entirely different way before dying
