Well yeah, uh remember that Angela stole Eurico’s mask that one time? Yeah, he had to go and get himself another from his Godmother

4 Panels.
Panel 1: Eurico and Estanislau walk away, discussing.
Eurico: She deserves to be brought to justice.
Estanislau: Yeah, well, she also deserves to not be in pain!
Eurico: That's yet to be decided.
Estanislau: So, you're, huh... Just gonna be wearing your late Godmother's uniform from now on?
Eurico (pulling his mask down): You don't think it suits me?
Estanislau: You're tall. A potato sack would suit you.
Panel 2: They approach the base of the statue in the middle of the plaza. A person is sitting there with their face hidden between their knees. Eurico sighs.
Estanislau: Still, it's a woman's uniform.
Panel 3: Both Estanislau and Eurico, with their masks down, look down on the person sitting next to the statue.
Panel 4: The person looks up, revealing a disfigured face and butchered eyes. They are covered in other wounds and the shirt has blood stains. The hair looks like it's been cut or ripped off in places.

Damn, it’s the guy Nikita had dragged away from the execution and then blinded and apparently tortured on top of that! 😟
he’s doing fine
Nikita has pretty warped ideas of what “fine” means, not just about himself…!
Of course so do our two torture-happy lusitan goons as well!
It’s basically a competition about breaking all karmic records!
what’s the difference between the men’s and women’s uniforms?
I have a quick visual here.
Basically, women get a skirt and a different type of cloak. Men get hat.
Ah excellent lore explainer pic! 😃👍
(And useful reference, I’m sure.)
They know he talked (about something, however small or irrelevant) and they probably do not touched by the silly excuse of being tortured.
BTW, what with the Median soldiers cutting out the eyes of locals? The blind woman in the earlier panels was probably also a victim of a Median death scad. Is there a specific message behind this or just a group of sadists picking up a habit?
Nikita took some eye damage during the Arouca mission, so now he’s dishing it out. I don’t know if it’s a personal thing that’s spread to the other Meditan genocide squads, or whether it’s an existing Meditan war practice and Nikita chose eyes.
