Eurico: We both know the wolves only let you live because you gave them something they wanted. And they didn't even need to torture it out of you. You just wanted to get away pain free, isn't it?
Panel 2: A jolly Estanislau turns to Eurico and Afonso, with a gun on his right hand. Afonso is holding his head in pain.
Estanislau: It's never too late to die for your country, my good christian.
Eurico: It sure isn't. Well, I do have another question for you, dear, dear Afonso.

Yeah, great art yet again, and horrendous scene even so!
Unfortunately very plausible if you give people superpowers and a general mandate but no humane boundaries!
