the stitches on estanis’ cape? you gotta mend it when you breakup with your partner

imagine Estanislau drinking sobbing crying sewing

The crowdfunding campaign for O Sarilho’s book four is now underway! By contributing, you will be helping me publish another volume of portuguese indie comics and, if it gets funded, get yourself a copy! We’ve made it through the first stretch goal, but we could very well make it through a second one….

Don’t forget the campaign ends June 13th! That’s one week and one day from now!

4 Panels.

Panel 1: A distored reminder of the vision the Foreigner forced upon Eurico: face covered with a cross, heart protuding out of his chest and pierced with a long sword.

Eurico: Just between the three of us: did you happen to see AN ANGEL?

Panel 2: Afonso hides his brutalized face between his legs again, cowering. Eurico gives up and gets up, beating the dust off his pants as he does so.

Afonso: Not sure I... Wh-wha d'you mea-
Estanislau: He's asking if you saw someone who is not human. Someone who should have died but didn't.

Panel 3: Close up of Afonso as he tries to shrink into non-existence. His words get smaller and smaller.

Afonso: i-i-i-i-i-i-I don't know what you're talknig about... Medic please.

Panel 4: The sillouetes of Eurico and Estanislau. Eurico is facing away, towards the mountains, but Estanislau has his eyes on Afonso.

Eurico: It would be a shame to give his parents the burden of an invalid son. And a traitor one at that.
