Ângela: It's a cultural thing. Meditans who live in Spain - where your carcass is most likely from - speak Meditan Spanish. Lusitanians speak portuguese. They're alike, but not the same. But if you go around speaking meditan spanish, we lusitanians will be suspicious of you.

Someone left there a perfectly fine hangman! Why wasn’t it directed to border guard or at least do some farm work?
I imagine that bodies have a shelf life. Once they start breaking down too much to do physical labor, they could just wiggle around as a scarecrow. Or, maybe just give the crows an alternative to the crops? 😬😝 Pretty sure they’d sever the link, before that.
Could you imagine being the person controlling the scarecrows?
